| Business Support Manager - Commercial Jul 9th 2021, 04:28 GlaxoSmithKline - Karachi, Sindh - Job Purpose: Reporting directly to the VP & GM and dotted line reporting to Head of Admin and Corporate Communications, the Business Support Manager serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the Office of the VP & GM as well as Head of Admin and Corporate Affairs (Vehicle fleet management, TPO, 14-day travel policy supervision). Serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors, Managing Committee and Senior Leadership Teams, organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts and oversees, special projects in an environment that is mission and result driven, exercising good judgement in a variety of situations. Strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organization skills and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion... personnel. Applies rules pertaining to retention and disposition. Produces meeting summaries and maintains and tracks VP&GM's priority lists of projects Provides systematic and dependable follow ups as well as high level of organization and preparedness. Ensures the VP & GM's schedule is followed and respected. Provides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the VP & GM's time and office. Handles all business finances, reconciles credit card statements and manages all expense reports in a timely manner and in line with company's policy and guidelines. Manages contacts using Outlook to conduct up-to-date database entry and tracking. Handles confidential and sensitive information with poise, tact diplomacy and uses a high degree of discretion. Performs additional duties / assignments as directed.
